Permission should be obtained directly from an author. The American Physical Society for its part hereby grants permission to quote excerpts and reprint figures or tables from its journals with the following bibliographic and copyright citation as follows:

Copying of articles for sale by document delivery services or suppliers is permitted against payment of a copying fee. The current copying fee is $20.00 per article, per copy. The APS enhancements are files produced by APS or its vendors with links and/or navigation, e.g., full-text XML file or HTML wrapper (abstract/references page). APS will not grant permission to the author or anyone else to use these versions.
Yes, the author has the right to mount or post the APS formatted version on his/her personal website, on either the intranet or the internet, provided these guidelines are followed:
An author cannot use the APS formatted version, but can mount his/her own electronic version. An author can also provide a link to the Article's abstract page ("wrapper"), using APS's simple URL formula ("link manager," see: http://link.aps.org/ [1]).
