Announcement: New and Departing Associate Editors in Physical Review E (April 1, 2013)

We welcome Alexander Wagner (North Dakota State University) who joins the editorial staff of Physical Review E. As Associate Editor, he will be responsible for the Computational Physics section of the journal.

Alexander obtained his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Oxford University in 1998. Following postdoctoral appointments at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Edinburgh University, in 2002 he joined the Physics Department at North Dakota State University. Alexander's expertise spans many subjects covered by Physical Review E including computational physics, computational fluid dynamics, colloids, complex fluids, and statistical physics.

At the same time, after nine years of service Burkhard Duenweg has decided to leave his position as Associate Editor. Burkhard was primarily responsible for papers in the Computational Physics and Polymer sections of the journal. We are very grateful for his contributions as an editor and his efforts on behalf of Physical Review E.
