Two-way quantum key distribution at telecommunication wavelength

We report on the first quantum key distribution effected with a two-way deterministic protocol over a standard Telecom fiber. Despite the common belief of a prohibitive loss rate for such a scheme our results show its feasibility on distances of few tenths of kilometers.
